The Trip Part 2: On the Road

We decided to stop by Laramie, WY for a little R & R with Andrea's brother Garrett and his wife Jane and little daughter Taylor.

Jane and little Taylor. I wish we could post a video of Taylor talking...it is the cutest! It was fun to see Gar and Jane again...hopefully we can talk them into coming to Columbus for Optometry school (cross your fingers). :)

This is a picturesque shot of the sky on our way to Denver from Laramie. We decided to go through Denver so we could visit Andrea's old high school buddy Rae and her family.

They just had their second little one a few months ago. Her name is Lauren and she is a doll. She's just such a beautiful baby.

Rae and her husband Justin. These guys are great! It was a blast to spend time with them...we only wish it could've been more time. Thanks for having us you guys!

(sorry Justin, we haven't seen any midgets in Ohio yet, but we'll keep an eye out)

Well, there is a synopsis of the first leg of our trip. For those of you who didn't know which direction we were going to take, we decided to add mileage to our trip in order to see friends and family along the way.

We started out going down through Laramie and spent a few hours with Garrett and Jane, and then continued on down to Denver and spent two nights and one day with Rae and her family. We then left the next morning before the crack of dawn to drive another 13+ hours to Eagen, Minnesota where Eddie's brother Matt lives with his family.

We'll post more pictures of that leg of the trip later. We decided to post them in chapters so you don't get picture overload.
