Nickel Creek

While Gar and Jane were here they were nice enough to babysit for us while we went to a Nickel Creek Concert

This was our second Nickel Creek concert and let's just say the first one was SO much better. It wasn't their fault, they were playing with special guest Fiona Apple and we aren't big on Fiona or the people she attracts. The crowd was a bit weird and there was a whole lotta smoking going on which made it less than pleasant. We had fun anyway, but left feeling a bit disappointed in the overall atmosphere.

The first concert we went to together was up in Park City, UT. We treated ourselves for Christmas one year. It was amazing! They sounded so great and at the end they even invited people up to the stage to sing Christmas carols with them - needless to say, we raced down the aisle and got to sit front and center on stage with them. It was so amazing! Nothing can top that.
