a small peek

I didn't want to bore you with an uber-long trip log of our vacation to visit family out west so I'll do it in snippets with pictures.  We had a blast in WY and UT visiting lots of friends and family members and loving the non-humid air!  Even though this is WAY after the fact, thanks to all those who took time out to visit with us - we LOVED it!

One of my best friends since 3rd grade had us over for dinner.  It was fun to visit with them and see their kids again.  Too funny and SO cute!

My aunt Kalyn treated us to burgers at Hires.  It was awesome and so much fun to hang with her.  Thanks Kalyn!

We had a little BBQ with my only relatives on the Howell side of my family, my Aunt Elaine and her family.  Thomas took this picture of Elaine and Catherine.  I think he did a pretty good job.

and these lovely ladies are my cousins Christine and Catherine.  It was so fun to see them again - I hope they get to visit us sometime while we live in OH.

We celebrated Thomas' birthday while we were in WY and he got this tricycle from Gma and Gpa and us.  He loved riding it all around the new driveway!  I love this picture because it shows just how red his hair is - love that cute redhead!

We took the kids to the Salt Lake Public Library (one of my favorite libraries ever!).  They loved the clubhouse room!

Thomas and Eddie went fishing for the first time with my Dad and brothers.  Thomas loved it and still talks about it!
